    Mateus Mendes is Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, Portugal, and a researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics. He received his BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2001, and his MSc in Intelligent Systems in 2004, both from the University of Coimbra. His research interests include artificial intelligence, robotics and associative memories.
