    José Alberto, born in Coimbra, Portugal. Obtained his Master Degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Energy branch at University of Coimbra. He pursued his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, during which time he was a visiting scholar at CIRCE - Research Center for Energy Resources and Consumption in Zaragoza, Spain. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute of Systems and Robotics at the University of Coimbra. His research interests include Wireless Power Transfer, Resonator Arrays, Inductive Charging, Linear Motors and Actuators.
