Bearing in mind the extensive development of air conditioning in the Mediterranean area, this action aims to analyse 3 regional markets for advanced envelope, window and air conditioning technologies, and the potential impact of the development and implementation of these technologies in terms of environmental protection and economic activity. Moreover, it will assess ways to influence the construction and retrofit market and to diffuse innovative financing procedures. The aim is to obtain higher levels of summer comfort and lower energy and power demand at equal or lower total life cycle costs.
